Description:
The purpose of the conference is to increase contract opportunities for small businesses and to expand outreach efforts in the small business community. The theme for this year's conference, "Securing Economic Freedom/Empowering Small Business," expresses the Department's desire to be more proactive in identifying and awarding contracts to small businesses.
There will be keynote speakers and panels of significant interest. However, this year the majority of conference time will be directed toward the exhibits, networking and a few key workshops.
Who Should Attend:
Several Federal Government Agencies will be in attendance at this conference, along with large Government contractors, mid-sized Government contractors, and owners of, and others affiliated with, small businesses.
