The High-Tech Small Business Boot Camp will be an intense, one-day event designed to promote the awareness and understanding of the range of business issues that are critical to high-tech entrepreneurs -- while also providing invaluable knowledge about and insights into the federal SBIR Program. Program managers from DoD and NIH will join some of the nation's leading SBIR experts to provide program overviews. Local business practitioners in the key areas of government- and private-sector marketing, intellectual property management and patents, business plans and infrastructure, business collaborations, tax and legal issues, and bank/angel/venutre funding will also be present.
