VA's Center for Innovative Technology (CIT) andGeorge Mason University Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP) will sponsor a business development workshop on "How to Win SBIR/STTR Funding" (conduct pre application marketing, plan bid strategies, research needed bid information and package it into winning technical and cost proposals) at all 10 SBIR/STTR agencies. Instructor & workbooks provided by the SBIR Resource CenterTM, since 1994 the nation's leading supplier of commercial SBIR/STTR business development resources.
Seating is limited to 25 persons -- pre registration is required.
Who Should Attend:
This is a program that strives to impart the marketing and psychology skills needed to “evoke desired responses” in SBIR/STTR reviewers. The presentation hinges on how to use a firm’s business and technology strategies to win SBIR/STTR funding. It is designed for CEOs, COOs, CTOs, and Directors of Marketing or Technology who are in a position to impact their firm’s longer term strategies. This is NOT a proposal writing course, and thus, not appropriate for "technical writers" just wanting to improve their proposal skills.
