The goal of the August 28th workshop is to train SBDC business counselors and partner counselors to provide assistance to SBIR/STTR clients. Specifically, the workshop will provide an overview of Phase I Proposals covering the basics of SBIR/STTR and how the programs have changed recently. The workshop will also provide an overview of Phase II Proposals covering how Phase II is different from Phase I. Although SBDC counselors will not write SBIR proposals for clients, a learning objective of the workshop includes developing a fundamental, working knowledge of the program and its benefits to SBDC clients. Greenwoods Consulting will be conducting the training.
