Description:
This workshop is a way to get a comprehensive overview of SBIR/STTR and to help attendees prepare a competitive technical proposal and defensible cost proposal for Phase I projects.
Day one of this workshop will focus on Phase I proposal preparation with an overview of the SBIR and STTR programs, discuss how the programs change over time (among agencies), and then cover in detail a four step process for preparing a competitive Phase I SBIR/STTR proposal.
On the second day there will be a workshop focusing on the cost proposal to help attendees understand government accounting and the SBIR/STTR cost proposal. Issues such as audits and recordkeeping will be reviewed as well.
