Business Partnerships for Mission Success: Assembling the Pieces
To many people, working with the government and other partners can be like trying to put a big jigsaw puzzle together. You know all the pieces are there, but there are so many to choose from and so many of them look alike…Where do you start? How do you find that missing piece? This National SBIR/STTR Conference is designed to answer many of the questions that both new and experienced small businesses have about the SBIR/STTR Grant Program.

The Cleveland conference program is structured to focus on three distinct interest groups: First, those wanting to find out about the program; Second, those with grants/contracts who are looking to move to the next step past the initial R&D phase; and finally, those who are ready to commercialize. By selecting which track or session that best suits your specific situation, you can gain valuable knowledge about how to proceed, what resources are available to assist you, and how you need to approach potential partners – from governmental or the private sector.

A Special Feature of this Conference is the re-institution and co-location of the Small Business Tech Expo (SBTE). The expo will showcase new technologies and the support services needed to bring them to market. Between the One-on-One Networking Area and the SBTE you will not find a better place to identify and get to know the strategic partners necessary for success.

The main goal of this SBIR/STTR Conference is to help you Learn How to Tap into a 1.6 Billion Dollar Business Resource through the National SBIR/STTR Program!

At this National Conference in Cleveland, new and aspiring small businesses can learn about the SBIR/STTR Program….how to apply for, and what it takes to win, some of the $1.6 billion in U.S. Government R&D investments. The SBIR program funds high-risk projects at the earliest stages of technology development – before companies can attract venture capital – and works with you through that development and on into the actual commercialization of your technology!
